Operations Engineer - USA

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Operations Engineer will be part of the operations & service organization to support i-charging North America growth based out of Atlanta (GA). This key role requires a talented and experienced engineer to execute the after-sales activities, project management and secure the operations & technical relationships with distributors, service partners and CPO’s. The operations engineer makes sure every project & partners installation is well supported including the commissioning activities for i-charging solutions across North America.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for carrying out after sales projects/contracts as dictated by the business;
  • Responsible for organizing the logistics related with DCFC, spare parts as well warehouse stock;
  • Provide support and skills to onsite commissioning activities including site testing;
  • Support other i-charging operations team on deployment, testing, and CPO’s feedback;
  • Provide best in class service documentation & organization;
  • Ensure operations is capable of fast responsiveness;
  • Provide support to have industry-leading service.

INTERACTIONS & INTERFACES:

  • Directly reports to the CEO of i-charging USA.

SKILLS & COMPETENCES:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an Electronics and Communications Engineering or other relevant Engineering/Technical field;
  • Experience with growing an operations organization from the ground up;
  • Experience working with remote personnel & partners;
  • Experience with the operational challenges in support DCFC installations;
  • Preferably experience with troubleshooting invertors, electronics, wiring, and cooling systems;
  • Preferably experience with communications and tools (Routers, Mobus TCP/IP, Mobile network, etc.);
  • Knowledge of safety regulations (NFPA 70E, OSHA);
  • Expert knowledge of project management;
  • Knowledge at using computers & systems;
  • Adept at reading technical documentation & circuit schematics;
  • Fluent in English language. Spanish as a second language preferable.

Sales Representative - USA

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales and marketing activities within the North American market by executing the sales process, including client outreach and procurement, developing sales forecasts, ensuring sales revenue and revenue growth on existing customers. Execute the sales strategy, conduct sales activity with effectiveness and efficiency. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate the desire and ability to identify service needs, areas of improvement and objectives experience, customer, and stakeholder feedback.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales & Marketing Activities:

  • Meet or exceed assigned quarterly and annual regional sales goals;
  • Execute and evaluate the sales activities within the area, Including conducting regular meetings with resellers partners, service providers and performance reviews;
  • Provide accurate forecasting on a timely basis that represents a balanced view;
  • Support in building and establishing development of sales and marketing plans;
  • Build and refine customer-facing proposals that offer comprehensive solutions to customers;
  • Act as a customer advocate within the organization;
  • Possess the ability to analyze data and to investigate the complete business situation.

Business Development Activities:

  • Prospect, Qualify and Close;
  • Develop new and existing key customer accounts;
  • Report progress on funnel growth using a customer relationship management tool;
  • Manage key customer relationships and create long-term sustainable business ties with stable customers in various sectors;
  • Be the primary point of contact for the customer throughout the complete sales cycle.

Other duties as assigned:

  • Develop and conduct presentations for tradeshows and customers;
  • Collaborate with operations leadership to ensure the objective service levels are delivered;
  • Works cross-functionally when necessary to ensure that other company functions support and integrate into the sales process;
  • Ability to travel as needed (Minimum 30%).

  • Primary liaison for existing customers as well as responsible for developing new accounts;

SKILLS & COMPETENCES:

  • Bachelors’ Degree preferred;
  • Minimum 3 years of sales or other commercial business experience;
  • Preferably in a low volume, highly engineered manufacturing environment;
  • Technical aptitude and familiarity with manufacturing processes;
  • Strong business acumen, effective communications, strategic thinking, and analytical skills;

Quality System Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:

The overall responsibility for this role will be to implement, monitor and support the performance of the Quality System at i-charging. Participate on cross functional teams to ensure effective implementation of quality initiatives and processes. Innovate for continuous Quality improvement.
Is an important role within the company organization to help create value for the company and to our customers.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for identifying and implementing industry best practices in Quality System processes that support the company operation;
  • Responsible for ensuring consistency of Quality Systems across the company and for driving efficiencies;
  • Ensure accuracy and timelines of all document control elements and supporting Quality System documentation and records;
  • Lead and participate in interdepartmental initiatives for continuous process improvements;
  • Support the non-conformity and complaint programs, with hands on ownership for investigation and resolution of issues;
  • Provide support for general troubleshooting and problem solving to support overall business needs;
  • Lead risk management process applied to the products using FMEA process in development projects;
  • Monitor internal audit activities and evaluate audit findings;
  • Interface with external auditors related to the external audit activities;
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and follow up.

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001;
  • Proficiency in English is a must (at least B2 – spoken and written);
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;

Service Specialist - French Speaker

POSITION SUMMARY:

The overall responsibility for this role will be the functional testing, quality verification and customer support of i-charging DC chargers.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for testing all DC charging solutions, this will include configurations and functional tests;
  • Introduce continuous improvement methodologies to the testing or service operations;
  • Planning the testing or service activities according with operational requirements;
  • Customer support team on troubleshooting and after sales support;
  • Overall responsibility for successful test execution and compliance to test procedures;
  • Close coordination with service, quality, production, and project teams to ensure on-time tests;
  • Resolve issues which might occur during the final test and quality control;
  • Performs service activities, remote and field customer support, this means mainly: installation support, commissioning and start-up activities, repairs, maintenance, and instruction of use of chargers to ensure safe and effective customer operations;
  • Provide technical training to customers and service partners on maintenance competences.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The overall responsibility for this role will be the purchasing planning for production and project activities.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Owner of RFI’s, RFP’s, RFQ’s and PO’s, ensuring all commercial terms are agreed and documented;
  • Ensures NDA, SOW’s and Master Purchase Agreement are positioned appropriately before business is initiated;
  • Evaluate supplier business proposals and present recommendations that will result in cost savings;
  • Introduce continuous improvement methodologies to the purchasing and logistic operations;
  • Use IT systems to manage stock levels, delivery times and transport costs;
  • Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, and transportation, including shipping issues;
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency;
  • Arrange warehouse, catalog goods, plan routes and products shipments;
  • Handle purchase orders and follow compliance accordingly.

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Operations team. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for onboarding and delivery of customer projects and for ensuring customer success by following up with and guiding your customers.


Our customers are international and can be for example car manufacturers, utility companies or fleets.

  • Manage customer relationships and expectations throughout delivery projects and coordinate cross-organizational networks to ensure high level of customer satisfaction;
  • Overall responsibility for successful execution of and compliance to contract/order and delivery of project until handover/close;
  • External as well as internal coordination and communication, primary point of contact internally and externally for all assigned projects;
